The first power transmission project of 400KV Double Circuit Transmission System from the Mundra plant to Dehgam (432 kms) has been commissioned.

We have also created the benchmark for the fastest completion of India's first private ± 500 KVHVDC Mundra - Mohindergarh transmission system line (989 kms).

± 500 KV HVDC (989 km)

We have created the benchmark for the fastest completion of India's first private ± 500KV HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) transmission system, Mundra - Mohindergarh transmission line (989 kms). This HVDC transmission project is the largest of its kind, traversing three states ie Gujarat, Rajasthan and Haryana.This line carries affordable electricity from our Mundra power plant to Mohindergarh in Haryana.

An HVDC line can transmit bulk power over long distances in a single hop over a single transmission line. Besides being economical over long distance, this technology also minimises the transmission losses.

The HVDC line is environment friendly and it needs less right of way per MW transferred and therefore minimum impact to the flora and fauna. Another unique feature of this system is its capacity to precisely control the amount of power to be transmitted, thus becoming extremely useful in preventing black outs.

The 400 KV Tiroda-Warora AC transmission line is being used to evacuate power from 3300 MW power plant at Tiroda, Maharashtra.

2 nos 765 KV S/C AC Network (630 km)

This 765 KV transmission corridor which will transmit power from Tiroda and other up coming generators in Eastern Maharashtra to western Maharashtra load centers.
